Goal: $100,000

This past year the Watauga Crisis Assistance Network (WeCAN) observed its eleventh year of helping community neighbors in crisis. Conceived, organized and funded by the faith community in 2002, WeCAN serves as a clearing house of benevolence assistance and crisis services for Watauga County residents.

Since 1985, Hospitality House has been helping people rebuild their lives, but never before has the need been more prevalent, especially among families and children. We see successes with the men, women and children that we serve each and every day. Successes that would not be possible without kind, caring and generous patrons like you.

Your contribution is tax deductable to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Your contribution helps to ensure that families and individuals have the provisions of food, shelter and supportive services. The goal is for every adult and child to leave empowered and equipped with the skills that will allow them to transition from crisis to stability, from poverty to sustainability and from homelessness to self-sufficiency.

Based on costs for 2013:

  • $2,500 Give One Day For All: (one day of food, shelter & supportive services for all that we serve)

  • $1,200 Give One Month (one month of food, shelter & supportive services for one person)

  • $250 Give One Week (one week of food, shelter & supportive services for one person)

  • $36 Give One Night (one night of food, shelter & supportive services for one person)
