This year the Watauga Crisis Assistance Network (WeCAN) observes its tenth year of helping community neighbors in crisis. Conceived, organized and funded by the faith community in 2002, WeCAN serves as a clearing house of benevolence assistance and crisis services for Watauga County residents.

- Timed Run for competitive runners will kickoff at 9am
- Casual runners, walkers & joggers immediately following

Trot Start/Finish: Clawson-Burnley Park

Pick Up: Pre-registration packet with t-shirt @ Hospitality House
- Nov. 20 - 21 - between 9am - 5pm

Onsite Registration:
- Available starting at 7:00am
- T-shirts are NOT guaranteed - first come, first serve
- Cash, checks & credit card accepted

Parking: Watauga Parks & Recreation lot on Hunting Hills Lane

Route Length: 5K

Route Terrain: Greenway Trail - partial paved, partial dirt path

Food Donations:
- Canned goods
- Boxed goods / Dry Goods: coffee, sugar, tea
- Bread

Food Donation Bins: available at Trot start/finish

Everyone Welcome:
- Competitive runners, walkers, joggers, speed walkers
- Families, strollers, dogs (on leashes), wheelchairs

Weather: Rain, shine or snow - WE ARE A GO!
- Snow plows available, trails will be clear
- Bridges will be de-iced
- Severe weather (lighting, flooding, hurricane winds) assessment will be made the morning of
- Some folks no longer have the luxury of being indoors during bad weather. We ask that you remember the purpose of our Trot, be thankful that you have a home to go to and come on out to help those less fortunate
